Hugo Breda, the Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies UK & Ireland (JJMD UKI), has been named a winner in the CEO Today United Kingdom Awards 2021.
Dedicated to recognising exceptional business leadership, the CEO Today United Kingdom Awards celebrates the achievements of industry-leading CEOs and entrepreneurs across Britain and Northern Ireland.
Hugo has been named a top leader in healthcare as part of the awards and was recognised for leading the JJMD UKI organization throughout the pandemic, specifically cultivating a culture prioritized around unwavering commitment to supporting the NHS, alongside continued focus on employee wellbeing and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I).
Hugo commented: “I am delighted to have been recognised in this year’s CEO Today awards in the healthcare category, particularly in a year when the sector has been tested like never before. For me, this recognition is testament to the resilience and commitment of the entire organization, which I feel proud and honoured to lead. As priority shifts to tackling the backlog of patients needing treatment and record waiting lists, our commitment to supporting the NHS through this will not waiver, nor will the focus on employee culture and engagement as without that, we cannot best serve the heathcare sector.”
CEO Today magazine said: “As the nation slowly approaches an exit from more than a year of uncertainty, these individuals shine as examples of excellence in their respective sectors, even when faced with unprecedented challenges. We at CEO Today would like to thank all contributors and participants in the 2021 CEO Today United Kingdom Awards. Congratulations to all of our winners and finalists.”
