Designing for flexibility and intuition
We designed an energy device to be easy to use4 while enabling more efficiency5 and stronger sealing5 than LigaSure™ Maryland. ENSEAL® X1 Tissue Sealers deliver efficient and secure sealing7 to help surgeons achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

One person, one choice, one action
At Ethicon, we dare to imagine a world without surgical site infections. Our Zero Starts with One campaign aims to eliminate SSIs. See how we can make a difference.

Clearing the air for a safer OR
Nearly one million hospital workers are exposed to surgical smoke each year8. It could be a workplace safety issue and a potential health concern. Let’s work together toward a smoke-free operating room.
