About This System

Each continuous compression implant system is pre-sterilized, disposable and includes:

  • Pre-loaded implants to store its compressive forces on the CCI’s insertion tool for easy release
  • Drill kits and instrumentation to efficiently place implants

Extension of Compression Beyond the Tips of the Legs of Nitinol Bone Fixation Implants

The purpose of this study was to determine if compression occurs beyond the tips of the legs of Nitinol implants, and if so, to establish the effective leg length (leg length plus extension of compression beyond the tips of the legs) of the implants tested.
