About this Device
The HARMONIC ACE+7 Shears is an advanced energy, ultrasonic device that is a sterile, single patient use instrument used for general dissection, vessel sealing, back-scoring, otomy creation, mesentery marching or dissecting in tissue planes. HARMONIC ACE+7 Shears consists of: an ergonomic handle, a hand piece attachment, Advanced Hemostasis with two energy delivery buttons to allow for increased dissection or increased coagulation, three shaft lengths (20cm, 36cm, and 45cm).3

The HARMONIC ACE+7, 5 mm Diameter Shears with Advanced Hemostasis are indicated for soft tissue incisions when bleeding control and minimal thermal injury are desired. The instruments can be used as an adjunct to or substitute for electrosurgery, lasers and steel scalpels in general, plastic, pediatric, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, exposure to orthopedic structures (such as spine and joint space), sealing and transection of lymphatic vessels, and other open and endoscopic procedures. The instruments allow for the coagulation of vessels up to and including 7 mm in diameter, using the Advanced Hemostasis hand control button.3
