Da mesma forma, pacientes com diabetes tem maior risco de mortalidade  associado ao vírus COVID-19.16,17
Pessoas obesas são mais propensas à síndrome de hipoventilação, doenças  cardiovasculares, insuficiência cardíaca e outras condições que podem  aumentar o risco de morte associado à COVID-19.18
