SYDNEY, 10 JUNE 2022  – The Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in Australia and New Zealand in its first year of participation. Great Place to Work Certification™ is recognised worldwide as the global benchmark for identifying outstanding employee experiences.

Great Place to Work® defines a great workplace when people experience a high level of trust in their leaders, have pride in what they do, and experience camaraderie with their colleagues.

Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies operates across three sectors and is led by Susan Martin, managing director MedTech, Biljana Naumovic, managing director Janssen, and Nadia Yu, managing director Consumer Health.

Susan Martin, managing director Johnson & Johnson MedTech ANZ, said: “Our employees have a shared sense of purpose to change the trajectory of health for humanity, so working here feels like more than just a job. People at J&J feel a commitment and responsibility to the patients, doctors, nurses, mothers and fathers that use our products and services, as well as to the communities in which we live and work, and are proud of the difference we can make.”

Biljana Naumovic, managing director Janssen ANZ, said: “Expectations around work/life balance have shifted significantly throughout the pandemic. We have embraced new ways of working to ensure our employees can manage both their work and personal commitments, such as adopting a hybrid workplace and providing a compelling range of benefits, such as flexible work choices. We also invest in our employees’ wellbeing through our signature Energy for Performance training, onsite and virtual gym classes, exercise reimbursement, and mental health education and support.

Nadia Yu, managing director Consumer Health, said: “Our focus on diversity, equity and inclusion also rates highly in employee feedback. We want every person to bring their unique experience and voice to work because our diversity is what makes us strong. We are striving to ensure that we embed a culture that not only treats everyone equally, but actively seeks input from all.”

The Great Place to Work® Certification™ follows Johnson & Johnson’s recognition as #1 in the Health Industries category in the 2021 Australian Financial Review BOSS Best Places to Work list, Best Leadership Development Program in the 2021 Australian HR Awards, and Best Health & Wellness Program in the 2020 Australian HR Awards.

Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies was also granted the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equity citation in 2021.
