AITA™ Smart System
The AITA™ Smart System is a comprehensive solution that optimizes the way hospitals manage their inventory – supporting sutures and a limited number of complementary products. It turns supplies into data, data into insights, and insights into actions. We call this Intelligent Inventory Management. AITA™ consists of configurable hardware designs coupled with a cloud-based software application that powers the AITA™ Insights Engine. AITA™ Smart System is currently in beta test form.
ARTISYN™ Y-Shaped Mesh
You understand that caring for your patient means using a mesh that complements your technique and her anatomy. ARTISYN Y-Shaped Mesh has a unique bi-directional design and allows for easy mesh placement and precision during fixation.1 It is designed to provide efficiency and support1 while evolving to leave less mesh behind.2 The mesh provides efficiency through mesh optimized to resist wrinkling and folding.3
BIOPATCH™ Protective Disk with CHG
In the US each year, there are an estimated 250,000 Central Line‐Associated Bloodstream Infections, with up to 33,000 deaths and a potential cost of $1 billion to the health care system.1 BIOPATCH™ is the only dressing that is designed to deliver chlorhexidine gluconate a full 360 degrees around the catheter insertion site, providing optimized coverage and protection.2,3 It is the only sponge dressing with a cleared indication for the reduction of CRBSIs in central venous and arterial catheters, with proven clinical efficacy.3,4
BLAKE® Drains have four continuous channels that provide greater tissue contact area than regular perforated drains1 and offers multiple drainage routes to resist clogging.1,2 Due to channel design, removal may be less traumatic to surrounding tissues in comparison to designs with holes.3,4 The J-VAC™ Closed Wound Drainage System is a sterile, disposable, portable system used for closed wound drainage. It consists of two component parts: J-VAC™ Reservoirs and Suction Drains.
Coated VICRYL Suture is a smooth, synthetic, absorbable suture that passes through tissue readily with minimal drag, and facilitates ease of handling, smooth tie down, and unsurpassed knot security.1
DERMABOND™ ADVANCED™ and Mini Topical Skin Adhesives
DERMABOND ADVANCED Topical Skin Adhesive is a liquid topical skin adhesive that holds wound edges together from surgical incisions and lacerations.1 It provides a microbial barrier with 99% effectiveness for 72 hours in vitro against organisms commonly responsible for surgical site infections.AB2 DERMABOND ADVANCED Topical Skin Adhesive significantly improved patient comfort and satisfaction when compared to sutured closures.C3,4
DERMABOND™ PRINEO™ Skin Closure System
DERMABOND PRINEO System combines a liquid adhesive with a self-adhering mesh (latex free) for closure of surgical incisions and simple lacerations. It is a non-invasive alternative to skin sutures and staples. DERMABOND PRINEO combines the proven strength, flexibility, and microbial barrier of DERMABOND ADVANCED™ with the security of a self-adhering mesh to facilitate skin closure and an optimal healing environment.A1-7 In a clinical study, DERMABOND PRINEO System was associated with a better cosmetic outcome than conventional suturing in skin closure. The ECHELON™ 3000 Stapler and reloads are intended for transection, resection, and/or creation of anastomoses.
The ECHELON CIRCULAR™ Powered Stapler has application throughout the alimentary tract for end-to-end, end-to-side, and side-to-side anastomoses.
The ECHELON CONTOUR™ Curved Cutter with Reload is intended for transection and resection in colorectal surgical procedures.
ECHELON ENDOPATH™ Staple Line Reinforcement
With easy application for OR efficiency, the ECHELON ENDOPATH Staple Line Reinforcement (SLR) stays in place during tissue manipulation1 to keep the focus on the patient. It also provides an added layer of protection to reinforce the staple line.
The ECHELON families of endoscopic linear cutters (articulating and straight) are intended for transection, resection, and/or creation of anastomoses. The instruments have application in multiple open or minimally invasive general, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and pediatric surgical procedures. They can be used with tissue buttressing materials. The instruments may also be used for transection and resection of liver parenchyma (hepatic vasculature and biliary structures), pancreas, kidney and spleen.
The ECHELON FLEX™ Powered Vascular Stapler is designed for use with ENDOPATH ECHELON Vascular White Reloads.
ECHELON LINEAR™ Cutter
Leaks have devastating consequences—clinically for the patient, and economically. Meanwhile, increasing patient complexity is making some open procedures more challenging, increasing the risk of leaks. The ECHELON LINEAR™ Cutter, with advanced stapling technology, delivered 47% fewer leaks at the staple line to help reduce surgical risks compared to PROXIMATE™ Linear Cutter.1
Related Models: GIA™ Stapler with Tri-Staple™ Technology, GIA™ Stapler with DST Series™ Technology
The ECHELON GST Reloads, used with the ECHELON 3000 Stapler, ECHELON+ Stapler, and ECHELON FLEX ENDOPATH Staplers, are intended for transection, resection, and/or creation of anastomoses.
The ECHELON™+ Stapler with GST Reloads is intended for transection, resection, and/or creation of anastomoses.
ENDOLOOP™ Ligature
ENDOLOOP™ Ligature facilitates the ligation of pedicles in laparoscopic procedures. It consists of an 18 inch long ligature in a plastic tube that is narrow at one end and scored at the other, where it is attached. The suture is formed in a ligature loop with a knot. Once the ligature is in place, the scored end is simply snapped and pulled upward to tighten the loop and secure the knot.
ENDOPATH DEXTRUS™ Minimally Invasive Access System
The ENDOPATH DEXTRUS™ Minimally Invasive Access System is a sterile single-patient-use abdominal access system comprised of a seal cap assembly and a fixed-length access retractor. The assembled device can maintain peritoneal gas pressure while allowing for insertion of the surgeon’s hand or surgical instruments into the abdominal cavity. The system is available in three sizes—small (<4cm), medium (4-7cm) and large (>7cm).
ENDOPATH XCEL™ Trocars
Trocars are the first point of contact into a patient and need to do many jobs - maximize visibility and maneuverability, enable surgical flow, and minimize exposure to pneumoperitoneum gas. ENDOPATH XCEL™ Trocars are designed to offer the control and consistency needed throughout the procedure from open to close.
ENDOPATH XCEL™ Trocars with OPTIVIEW™ Technology
Trocars are the first point of contact into a patient and need to do many jobs - maximize visibility and maneuverability, enable surgical flow, and minimize exposure to pneumoperitoneum gas. ENDOPATH XCEL™ Trocars with OPTIVIEW™ Technology are designed to reduce smudging of the endoscope upon reinsertion by wiping, wicking and absorbing fluid that builds up inside the trocar.
