Training is the foundational step in bringing innovations to life, so we’ve created an opportunity to help educate more healthcare professionals by touring 19 cities across the United States with a mobile lab that is fully equipped with our latest spinal digital surgery innovations.
From March 4th to April 27th 2020, our tour will unite technique and technology to train healthcare professionals on the comprehensive Brainlab portfolio and DePuy Synthes Spine platforms. The Enabling Technology Mobile Lab will train on the full procedural solution in the areas of complex cervical, MIS TLIF, Lateral and Deformity procedures. Diana Bacci-Walsh, Senior Director, Worldwide Education, DePuy Synthes Spine says of the tour, “One of the best things about this mobile lab tour is that we can train the entire surgical staff together and review process flow that allows the team to be more efficient and productive.”
Our portfolio provides surgical teams with tools for pre-operative planning and integrated solutions for a streamlined surgical workflow, potentially benefitting patients, healthcare professionals, and hospitals. Our procedural solutions allow surgical teams to visualize complex anatomies and provide seamless integration into intra-operative navigation and robotics.
DePuy Synthes and Brainlab are committed to creating comprehensive and accessible educational resources and training for healthcare professionals to improve access to the cutting-edge technology that stems from our collaboration.
“The preferred agreement in Spine between DePuy Synthes and Brainlab offer a solution to allow for navigation and instrumentation in the fields of complex cervical and deformity.” Chris Eigenmann, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, DePuy Synthes Spine explains. “We are excited by the opportunity to work with Brainlab to help integrate innovative implant solutions with pre-operative planning, visualization, navigation and robotics enabling surgeon-driven procedure workflows of the next generation.”
Clinicians will have the opportunity to attend the mobile lab training to learn about products such as Cirq® Robotics, a universal platform for robotic tasks that serves a range of neurosurgical and orthopaedic indications. DePuy Synthes recently launched the SYMPHONY™ OCT System, an enhanced set of instruments and implants for posterior stabilization of the upper spine, which will also be featured in the mobile lab, among other important innovations.
