About this Device
VISTASEAL is a single-use product that uses a combination of human fibrinogen and human thrombin to assist with mild to moderate bleeding control when standard surgical techniques such as suture or cautery are ineffective. The sealant is applied in a thin layer over the bleeding tissue in order to generate a cross-linked fibrin clot to achieve hemostasis.1 VISTASEAL can be utilized in high-risk patients when there are concerns regarding coagulopathy, antiplatelets, anticoagulants, and friable tissue.2-6
Features & Benefits

Provides Sustained Hemostasis
VISTASEAL demonstrated sustained hemostasis even in high-risk and heparinized patients (friable tissues, anticoagulants, antiplatelets, and coagulopathies).2-6

No Other Fibrin Sealant Preps FasterA,7
With click-on dual applicator, airless spray design, and no additional warming needed after thawing1, VISTASEAL enables faster preparation than any other fibrin sealant on the market.A7 Once thawed, no additional warming is needed vs TISSEEL (4 minutes to warm).B1,8

Offers Enhanced Control for Exceptional Performance
VISTASEAL improves user experience for the entire surgical team, with flexibility to spray in a narrow or broad pattern with a single device, malleable spray tip for access to challenging anatomy, and broad working temperature.1 VISTASEAL™ achieves the same coverage area as TISSEEL, which requires external spraying equipment.C9
