Features & Benefits
Options
The system’s implants are designed to treat degenerative joint disease one compartment at a time: medial condyle, lateral condyle and patellofemoral. This allows the surgeon to replace only the affected compartment, leaving healthy bone, cartilage and ligaments intact. The modularity of the system addresses one of the main reasons for early intervention revision, disease progression.
Bi-compartmental
The modularity of the system allows for a variety of component placement scenarios and provides an accurate fit to patient anatomy. The modularity of the system also addresses one of the main reasons for early intervention revision, disease progression. Bi-compartmental replacement is possible as either a simultaneous or staged procedure.
Normal Kinematics & High Flexion
Because of the ability to maintain the ACL with this system, normal kinematics in activities of daily living can be achieved. The unicondylar components are designed for patients who require a higher than normal degree of flexion, providing support up to 155 degrees.
Low Wear
The combination of a highly polished cobalt chrome tray with a moderately cross linked polyethylene insert is designed to help reduce backside wear.1
Fully Instrumented Surgical Techniques & Bone Preservation
The system is complemented by High Performance instruments offering precision, efficiency and accuracy. The surgical technique using these instruments is robust and reproducible, taking only the amount of bone necessary, preserving bone and soft tissue.
