Today, the heroic healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the front lines of care in communities around the world need our support more than ever before.
Guided by Our Credo and with valuable input from renowned physicians who are part of our Global Education Council, we have expanded a collaboration with Advances in Surgery (AIS) to make their COVID-19 Resources, powered by DialogEDU, available through our J&J Institute.com ecosystem.
“During these challenging times we want to do all we can to support doctors, nurses and other clinical and administrative staff as they combat the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Aldo Denti, Company Group Chair, DePuy Synthes. “They can now access important information from multiple public sources, updated in real time, and take advantage of critical training as this dynamic situation continues to unfold.”
The AIS COVID-19 Resources also feature a chat forum made possible through an agreement with Chinese and Spanish health authorities. This includes a Q&A database with 24-hour responses and translation capabilities.
“More than 30,000 HCPs from 123 countries viewed the AIS Resources the first day they became available” says Sandra Humbles, Vice President, Global Education Services for Medical Devices. “This demonstrates the immediate and pressing need for one-stop access to COVID-19 information and critical training, such as an online mechanical ventilation course, and we expect even more HCPs around the world to visit the site in the days and weeks to follow.”
Within the J&J Institute educational ecosystem, our customers can access tools for managing energy and well-being, as well as online courses to view anytime and anywhere across multiple specialties. In addition to the AIS Resources, the J&J Institute will continue to maintain and provide additional education and live webinars for HCPs, and link to strategic medical partners to help everyone perform their work in the most safe and effective way possible.
