Ethicon is exhibiting at the Future Surgery Show 2021

Ethicon, part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies (JJMDC), will be exhibiting at the Future Surgery Show 2021, delivered in partnership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Ethicon are relentless in their mission to support healthcare systems to treat more patients, providing better experiences and outcomes, to reach more of them today, and in the future. The event is an opportunity to hear perspectives from senior leaders about how driving digital transformation is pivotal in this mission, which has been accelerated by COVID-19 and the need for innovation to help tackle the backlog of patients on waiting lists whilst addressing the quadruple aim.

JJMDC is hosting a panel discussion on the first day of the event, chaired by Professor Shafi Ahmed, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust. The panel session will see Jenny Nagy, General Manager of Ethicon GB, Gianluca Casali, Medical Director for JJMDC UK & Ireland, Ahmet Tezel, Vice President of R&D for Ethicon and Neil Davis, Strategic Capabilities Director for JJMDC UK & Ireland, discuss how adopting a digital ecosystem can support creating a future where medical intervention is smarter, less invasive, and more personalized through data, providing solutions to the most pressing challenges facing the NHS. Join the session ‘Adopting a Digital Ecosystem to Support NHS Recovery’ on Tuesday 9th November, between 15:50 and 16:30, in Theatre1.

Ceylan Yokus, Commercial Director of Digital Solutions at Johnson & Johnson, will also host a talk ‘Seeking smarter, safer surgeries’ on Tuesday 9th November at 10:40am. Join Ceylan in the ASIT Innovation Theatre to learn more about C-SATS®, a cloud-based, intraoperative data management system that enables surgical learning through the capture, storage, and review of Minimally Invasive Surgery videos to efficiently generate insights and analytics.

Held at ExCel London on November 9th and 10th, the Future Surgery Show will see surgical professionals and industry to come together for the chance to discuss new products and innovations to shape the future of medical technologies to meet the needs of patients. The Ethicon team can be found at Stand A140 and their Innovation Room AH41 where they will be discussing and displaying upcoming technologies.
