MENTOR® Saline Breast Implants
MENTOR® Saline-filled Breast Implants come in a variety of shapes, sizes and profiles.1 They are filled with a saltwater solution that is very similar to the fluid that makes up most of the human body. Saline implants are inserted into the body without fluid, and then filled during surgery through a fill-tube to the desired size.2 When the fill-tube is removed, the implant automatically seals itself. Round breast implant shapes are also available in a wide array of sizes to accommodate various body types.1

Saline breast implants have a silicone elastomer shell which inflates to the desired size with sterile isotonic saline before implantation, as well as post-implantation for some implant options.4 They are available in smooth surface shells.4 There are three projection options: Moderate, Moderate Plus, and High Profile.1 They have a flexible fill volume, allowing the surgeon to adjust the volume during the procedure.2,4
