New SURGIFLO™ is now faster, simpler and more consistent to prepare

Johnson & Johnson, a global leader in surgical technologies and solutions, has launched new SURGIFLO™ Hemostatic Matrix Kit with Thrombin, which delivers the same trusted efficacy^1* as the current SURGIFLO™, but now with an unbeatable preparation time.^1†

SURGIFLO™ is a flowable, gelatin-based hemostatic matrix used in surgical procedures to stop bleeding. It is particularly effective in difficult-to-access bleeding^2-8, where surgeons are faced with challenges including limited visibility or an uneven bleeding surface.

Like all flowable hemostats, SURGIFLO™ must be mixed and prepared in the operating room (OR) before use. Time is of the essence, and any preparation delays can be associated with increased stress. SURGIFLO™ now delivers the same trusted efficacy with faster, simpler and more consistent preparation^1*, making it 36% faster than the current SURGIFLO™^1* and more than 2.5 times faster than a leading competitor.^1±
