Mentor Worldwide LLC, the global leader in breast aesthetics, announces the appointment of Diane Gomez-Thinnes to the position of Worldwide President. Diane has spent the past three years with Mentor, most recently serving as Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing and U.S. Marketing. During her tenure at Mentor, Diane has been instrumental in rebuilding the brand and strategy, and regaining Mentor’s global leadership position. Diane succeeds Warren Foust, who has been appointed Worldwide President for the Surgical Vision business of Johnson & Johnson Vision.
“I couldn’t be more honored to step into the Worldwide President role and lead the talented team we have at Mentor who serve surgeons and their patients every day in more than 117 countries,” said Diane. “Mentor is a world-class organization that has earned the trust and respect of surgeons and their patients for the past 30 plus years. I look forward to leading Mentor into the next chapter of our company as we give a greater voice to the patient, who deserves only the best products, most transparent information, and support to navigate her decision to breast reconstruction or breast augmentation.”
Diane is respected for her focus on building organizational marketing capabilities, fostering a diverse culture within the company, and her mentorship of young talent. She has 16 years of strategic and commercial marketing experience across various specialty areas in the Medical Devices sector. Before Mentor, Diane held roles of increasing responsibility at other Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Companies, and started her career as an engineer in the oil industry. Diane holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BSE in Chemical Engineering and a Certificate in Latin American Studies from Princeton University.
