Osteoporotic patients have a reduced rate of tuberosity healing. This may result in decreased range of motion.6

Osteoporotic patients have an increased risk of revisions  and peri-prosthetic fractures.7,8

 Lateralized RSA constructs result in increases in acromial stress fractures. This is of particular concern with osteoporotic patients.9
