Polymer
RAPIDSORB Resorbable Fixation System implants are made from 85:15 poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide).3, 5-7

Implant Stability
RAPIDSORB implants retain their stability for at least 8 weeks during the critical bone healing phase.8,9 The device will then be absorbed and excreted by the body within approximately 12 months.9,10

In Vivo Degradation
In vivo degradation occurs by hydrolysis to lactic and glycolic acid, which is then metabolized into carbon dioxide and water. Both end products will be absorbed and excreted by the body.11,12
Features & Benefits

Many Plate Options
Multiple plates shapes are offered in 0.5, 0.8 and 1.2 mm thicknesses.
Plates design includes features like beveled edge and straight edge design of cross-slots between the holes.
Pre-shaped plates can be contoured.

Meshes & Foils
Round-shaped contourable meshes might be applied without cutting or kinking.
When needed, meshes & foils can be cut into desired plate geometries.
Solid foils allow customization of hole size and location.

Screws
Screws are available in 3 diameters: 1.5, 2.0 & 2.5 mm.
2.0 mm screws can be used with 1.5 mm plates as primary or emergency screws.
2.5 mm screws can be used as emergency screws for 2.0 mm screws in case of breakage.

Compact Water Bath
Compact Water Bath is available with custom sterile drape for thermal contouring of plates, meshes and foils.
