Patient Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria

Key Inclusion Criteria

  • ≥60 years old with paroxysmal AF ≥2 years
  • ≥2 episodes over the 6 months preceding enrollment
  • Failed treatment with 1–2 antiarrhythmic drugs
  • HATCH score 1–4

Key Exclusion Criteria

  • Reversible AF
  • Previous diagnosis of persistent/permanent AF/AT
  • Cardioversion >48 h after onset of AF/AT
  • Recent cardiovascular events
